04. Bars, Restaurants, Cafes

I worked ‘behind the stick’ from 1992 to 2002. My long stints were at the Plaza Tavern in Madison, at Carmine’s in midtown Manhattan, bOb on the Lower East Side, and Do Hwa in the West Village. When the bar was slow, I drew in my sketchbook. In my time off, I went to bars with my sketchbook. People-watching heaven.
